Also, it has been established beyond doubt that a combination of exercises (strengthening and stretching) works best among those suffering from arthritis. These exercises primarily stretch your tendons and ligaments and eventually help to keep your joints moving. Some common exercises include swimming, cycling, hydrotherapy and cycling to keep you fit.

Yoga happens to be one of the best stress management busters as it combines a number of techniques including stress management and relaxation. For example, on a particular day, if you are experiencing a kind of painful arthritis flare, you may help yourself by doing a few yoga exercises. However, there is a piece of advice which is not to overtax the joint that seems flaring.
